TECNZ NZ Buyer & Seller Trade Event 2025 Lifts Off
The Tourism Export Council of New Zealand (TECNZ) is thrilled to officially welcome over 380 attendees to the TECNZ NZ Buyer & Seller Trade Event 2025 consisting of 105 tourism businesses (182 Sellers) set to showcase their offerings and to over 170 Inbound Tour Operators staff over the next two days.
Taking place in at the Viaduct Events Centre, Auckland on 9 and 10 April, this premier New Zealand based event will bring together the best of the tourism products New Zealand has to offer to enable Inbound operators to sell New Zealand products and experiences to their offshore clients (travel agents and tour wholesalers).
With the evolving landscape of global travel, TECNZ has reimagined this flagship event to deliver even greater opportunities for networking, knowledge-sharing, and business growth. Attendees can expect strategic business appointments, and exclusive insights into emerging tourism products.
“The 2025 Trade Event is a milestone for our industry to ensure New Zealand remains a world-class travel destination,” said Lynda Keene, CE of TECNZ. “This year’s evolved and standalone event reflects our commitment to providing a platform that fosters meaningful connections, drives business opportunities for our members, and strengthens our country’s position on the global tourism stage.”
The TECNZ NZ Buyer & Seller Trade Event 2025 is expected to reinforce New Zealand’s reputation as a leader in sustainable and high-value tourism across all markets and segments.
The event will also host guest representatives from the Department of Conservation, Immigration New Zealand, Qualmark and NZ Māori Tourism. CE of TECNZ Lynda Keene said, “Inviting key stakeholders to have a presence at the event also creates an opportunity for the industry to engage with government departments to share their thoughts and insights on numerous matters affecting future changes that can support or inhibit growth opportunities.”
Our thanks also go to our strategic partners who support the event: Christchurch Airport, Auckland Airport, NZ Māori Tourism, Auckland Conventions, Venues and Events, Interislander and Great Journeys New Zealand.
