What happens next?
The Tourism Export Council secretariat will respond to the applicant within 5 working days, acknowledging receipt of the application and confirming that it has been referred to the Tourism Export Council Board.
Once the Tourism Export Council Board has accepted the application it will be referred to Qualmark for an assessment against the Qualmark Inbound Tour Operator criteria and you will be billed for your membership fee. The Qualmark assessment must be successfully completed before membership will be granted.
Once successful the applicant will be advised accordingly and a certificate of membership will be issued. Included in the subscription fee are annual fees paid to the Tourism Industry Association. This means all Full Members are also members of the Tourism Industry Association. Collectively, these two fees, if purchased separately from TIA and Qualmark provide members with substantial savings.
An annual subscription fee of $2400.00 + GST is payable in April each year. Members who join during our financial year will be charged a pro-rated fee.
* monthly direct debit payments can also be arranged. Please email accounts@tourismexportcouncil.org.nz for further information.
