How to Measure your Carbon Footprint

One of the first steps towards having a sustainable tourism business is to understand, measure and reduce your carbon footprint. There are a variety of tools and resources available to help – you’ll find much of the information you need on your energy bills and other records. You can choose to use a free carbon calculator, or if you’d like some support or are interested in getting certified as a carbon neutral business you can go with organisations like ekos or Toitū Envirocare.
